John Davis, “The Wrong Tree”

The song is called “The Wrong Tree,” and features Jose Medeles on percussion and drums.  It also features backing vocals by Laura Burhenn, Megan Siebe, and Sarah Gleason.  I played bass, guitars, and keyboards.  It was recorded by Brandon Eggleston, Ben Brodin, and myself – in parts.  Brandon used a phillips head screwdriver to assemble the spare parts in Portland, following a sheet of directions obtained from Ikea.

Spare Parts will be released by Shrimper Records on either 10/27 or 10/29, depending who you talk to.
